a very well packaged and great looking SMOK product.
one for the distinguished gentleman.
one button operation takes abit of getting used to and the instructions are a little vague in places, but no much that detracts from using the product.
very well machined tank
the pipe did leak a little when carried in my rucksack, although i have since started using the 'vape band' to seal the upper part of the tank where the top rotates for filling, and this seams to have stopped the leak.
very smooth hit with variable draw loads and air flow regulation.
Great bit of kit

Fast delivery of product no complaints there.
Nice feel good quality , versatile and not to heavy even with tank attached and full. Value for money I would say.
I would recommend this for a relaxing evening at home rather than something to be carted round the round shops. I've got a feeling that a pipe in public at this point time. Might be a bit in the face for some non Smokers/ Vapers.
I prefer mine at home and in bed at night like a dirty little secret. Nice design interesting display. As for charging the device I personally prefer to remove the battery and use my mains charger rather than the pipes USB all the time, but if one was charging the device with the USB I would suggest removing the back cover to give it more ventilation. Also I usually leave batteries to rest for half an hour before charging them as it puts less stress on them and they tend to last longer.
So as for the Pipe if your looking for a second device with style this is the Pipe for you as I can say I certainly love mine.

Being an ex pipe smoker, the SMOK Guardian III is perfect for vaping on when I'm reading or chilling in the evening. It has the perfect feel in the hand and at about 15 Watts is ideal for all day. At the higher Wattage's the SMOK Guardian III is great for Sub-Ohm vaping too and suits both Cloud chasers or flavour lovers too. Add to the design, you also have the lovely TFV4 tank. The device can take all sized tanks without losing its look or smoothness. Overall, a wonderful product that I would recommend to anyone wanting a good all rounder device that has the perfect look and suaveness of a pipe with that marvellousness of a Vape Mod. I would give it more than 5 Stars if I could.

Very Disappointed in this product

I was sad when I found out the Guardian II was no longer available, i loved the feel of the wood and the superb stainless finish.
The Guardian 3 offered a great solution, albeit the piano black finish just isn't as classy as the wood of the guardian II. 75w, Sub-Ohming, Temperature control and an app to boot to set up that perfect vaping experience.
So I made the plunge and purchased this from Vapingman and it arrived promptly.
With great enthusiasm, I read the manual, watched online video's and prepared for a fantastic vaping experience. Everything seemed great. The app works well in general. So where has the Guardian 3 failed to deliver:
1: The clouds of smoke aren't as impressive as perhaps they could be..this is really a minor point.
2: The pipe splutters and spits out vapour from the air vents on the Atomiser, makes a bit of a mess of shirts unless you are watching for it!
3: The stainless steel coil that came with the kit doesn't work, once fitted you get a helpful message saying Ohm too low and refuses to do anything, it doesn't allow you to set the ohm rate manually.. so its a wasted tank of vaping fluid too clean it out and refit the Clapton Coil.
4: In the app, helpfully, when you select Stainless Steel Coil, the software redirects you to the page marked Vapour Up-gradation..What does this mean!
5: There is a nice little feature to upgrade the firmware for the pipe, but if like me you use apple products, it is useless. So only buy this product if you are a window user!
6: It does take a bit of fiddling with vents and settings to get a good taste, as temperature control doesn't seem to work without ni coils I found the best solution is the customised power option, this allows you to vary the power output over your vaping period. I found setting it at 60w for the first second and dropping it to 40w in steps worked well at stopping the unit getting too hot and hence reduces the burnt flavour.
All in all it's not the greatest product. After owning the Guardian two (which i wanted to replace the bowl as my dogs got hold of my old one!) this product simply isn't as well built. It has so many great features, its just a shame that the Guardian 3 isn't the same class of premium product as its predecessor.
Has its pros and contras

It's a great toy, not the only vaporizer I have, but I do prefer to use for its form factor. Pros are obvious — convenient pipe-like device, flexible, powerful. The contras are
1. You can only reasonably control it using bluetooth, unless you feel like going through ordeal of controlling it with a single button.
2. You *have* to control it, because once you change the battery, it forgets power settings and sets to 30W.
3. But first you'll have to turn bluetooth on using that single button, because it's off by default.
4. Without additional purchase you can only use temperature control with nickel coil. And of course they supply temperature-control capable stainless steel coil, which is ridiculous.
5. If you go as far as willing to purchase stainless steel temp control in iOS app you face the black "vapor up-gradation" screen with no option to do anything whatsoever.
6. There's no way you can even tell if there's anything on the screen in the daylight.
7. May be a matter of taste, this is the first time I tried sub-ohm atomizer, but I haven't managed to get anything but burnt taste out of it. It does have throat hit, but that's not what I'm looking for. I can't feel aroma at all, I ended up using my good old innokin iClear30.
8. would be cool if one could charge battery inside the mod without disconnecting vaporizer…
Still, I don't exactly regret the purchase and I'm grateful to vapingman.co.uk for quick processing — could be even quicker if I were home when GLS stopped by ;-)
An unique idea
